Mattes Place, Meadowbrook, QLD 4131

Mattes Place is located in logan and is considered by many to be one of the owners streets in the surrounding area there arent alot of renters in this street. Running just off Edenlea Drive, this beautiful stretch of road is an ‘ideal’ place to live that is close to shops, health services and public transport.

When passing by Mattes Place, the first thing you notice is the neatness of the street. If you like greenery, then you will love it here.Everyones houses are neat and tidy with no overhanging plants and trees. All but one of the houses in the street are One storie houses and have moderately spacious living areas. A few houses on the street have pools and the backyards are a fairly decent size. But if you require more space there is a extremely large park just a few minutes walk from Mattes place. The Riverdale park has play sets for the kids, excercise equipment, horses, walking tracks, Bike tracks, picnic areas and barbeques. it also has large feilds and fishing spots backing onto the logan river.

During the week, Mattes Place is like most in the area…quiet and comfortable. There is very little noise from traffic and it’s a great place to live for couples and small families. There is plenty to do on the weekends as mattes place is a 20 minute drive from the CBD and 30 minutes away from both the gold coast and sunshine coast. But for some things more close to home there is a Dooleys a few seconds up the road and also some restaurants. 5 minutes down the road you can find the hyperdome which is a shopping complex known all around logan. Not too big and not too small, this mall of shops houses some of Logans finest retail chains especially when it comes to fashion. The Hyperdome also houses a 12 Cinema complex and arcade entertainment area and Gilhooleys which is very popular with the under 20’s crowd on Saturday nights. Also it has weekend entertainment and competitions and a variety of restaurants. There is also a bowling ally located on the premesis.

The Riverdale Park located Near Mattes Place is a great area for taking the kids on the weekend and having a nice Sunday afternoon BBQ and there is also children’s playground to keep the young ones occupied. Although generally quiet during the week, the barbeques are very popular during the summer months so it is advised to get there early on weekends to make sure you don’t go hungry.

Getting around is a breeze from Mattes Place as well. Just 1 minute down the road is the Loganlea Train station which connects you to most of the city goldcoast and sunshine coast (express comes every half hour). Bus lines also run from the station and just outside the street weekdays between 6:00am and 8:00pm, and on weekends from 6:00am to 9:00pm.

Overall Mattes Place has a great feel about it. It’s fantastic all year round with lovely gardens combined with peaceful surroundings. Housing mostly middle aged couples, often seen at the local logan diggers entertainment pub for all ages, Mattes Place is in the center of everywhere you want to go.
