Police numbers in the CBD on Saturday night
I was amazed to see the volume of police out as part of Operation Unite designed to crack down on public drunkenness. They were everywhere!
It wasn't a good look for tourists visiting but if they have any hope of cracking down on violence it needs to be done.
Did anybody read about the man in a tuxedo that was arrested for being drunk? Apparently was walking down a laneway with the staggers, placed in handcuffs and held for 4 hours. Is this the criminal element we should be focusing on?
