Thinkin of a Merimbula Seachange... Any advice or comments? Anyone in the same boat?

We're thinking of relocating to Merimbula NSW and have a 12, 9 and 3 yr old. My husband works away often too - are there many options to meet new people and become integrated in the community or are things pretty isolated? We'd love a change of pace but are also pretty social and I dont think I could do isolation so well.

We moved to Merimbula 13 years ago when our boys were 4 & 7. It is a great place to raise a family and it is easy to make connections through sports, schools, and clubs. It is such a beautiful and safe area.

Not sure if you ended up making the move to Merimbula, this place is a beautiful area to live with plenty for children and adults alike. Great people and plenty of tourism also

There are lots of opportunities to meet people in Merimbula, especially if you have young children. Obviously would meet people through schools, but there are lots of sporting clubs and after school activities for kids to get involved in such as Nippers, Soccer, Football, Netball, Athletics, Gymnastics, dancing and much more. It is a great place to bring up kids and beautiful place to live. The local Chamber of Commerce is holding a Sea Change Expo in January 2022.
