"Cosy private street with ugly housing."
Mitchell Crescent in Port Melbourne is a private residents only street that connects Nott Street to Rouse Street. It's not the most visually appealing of areas, as all the houses\apartments are painted an off white\yellow color on top of the brick facades.
On the plus side, you can't go wrong with the location. You are two minutes walk to the beach, and only a short stroll to Bay Street, which has shops, bars and restaurants.
