"Happy to die here.Paradise."

Having lived in Australia for 18 years, trying to find a place that captured my heart, fully. Montville is the place for me. As I sit here listening frogs sing their glorious symphony in the blackness of the night, I feel really , truly grateful to live here. Tomorrow , I will venture out to a thriving village for a world class coffee and a view to die for . Safe, calm and vibrant. Ill always live here now. Its a beautiful part of the world. I love it.

"A Living Jewel"

Is this Paradise ? Fresh clean air, low humidity, views to die for, birdlife abounds, glorious gardens & lush greenery. A myriad of pleasent walking tracks & waterfalls. All this and the friendly village atmosphere, the warm welcoming locals have made it a delight to visit & have convinced us to purchase in the area.

"I Love It Here!!!"

Montville, although rather touristy at times, is one of the loveliest places in Queensland. With the beautiful vistas of lush green paddocks and the deep blue of the Pacific ocean on the horizon, it's my idea of heaven. This is compounded by the multitude of confectionery shops that sell fudge and candies and ice creams. It has some spectacular accommodation options, great restaurants and the friendliest locals I've ever met. There are some tacky elements to the township like faux Irish shops where you can buy a tea towel with your family crest on it. But the natural beauty of spots like Kondalilla Falls and the bush that surrounds it eclipses all those tacky moments. There's also a vibrant artistic community up there with plenty of galleries holding the works of local painters, sculptors and weavers.

"Essentially a tourist town with excellent restaurants and boutiques."

Monteville is a hinterland township that has developed to cater to the tourist industry. It is approx. 45 minutes drive from most coastal Sunshine Coast towns.

Many visitors to the Sunshine Coast do a day trip up into the hinterland area and go to Monteville for their boutique and knick knack shopping. There are many fine cuisine restaurants in the area where visitors will spend a leisurely 2 or 3 hours over lunch.

Views from many of the restaurants are magnificent out over the Sunshine Coast and out to sea.

There are many art galleries in the area offering many different types of art from African through to almost anything you can imagine.

The Monteville area is well known for its bed and breakfast retreats. There are a variety of styles and some wonderful settings in which to spend the weekend.
