Is Mooloolah Valley the wholesome upbringing im looking for my kids?

Hi there, I am a mum of 2 and was moving to a gorgeous little town of the border of nsw and Vic called Moama. It was going to be the ideal place to bring up the kids in a quiet country town but without the "small" town mentality. We now are moving to the sunshine coast so hubby can be close to brisbane instead and im trying to find the same sort of setting up there and it seems mooloolah valley maybe the answer? any advice?

Hi Wilko7383,
Just wondering if you ended up moving to the Sunshine Coast and the Mooloolah Valley area?
We are moving up from Victoria and originally looking at Bli Bli area mainly due to schools however we are thinking we may go down the coast/hinterland a little.
I would love to chat some more if you ended up making the move.
Thanks.

Mooloolah Valley is the safest and friendliest of all the Hinterland towns. It has a great community spirit. The child care centre Little Munchkins has just been voted the best on the Sunshine Coast. The local primary school has an excellent reputation. The shopping centre provides for all our daily needs and if anything more specialised is needed Caloundras` shops and beaches are only a 15 minute drive away. We have lived here for over 7 years and have never locked our house, nor do most residents here as it is not necessary. Mooloolah Valley offers a relaxed life style in verdant surroundings. I am so glad we "discovered" this beautiful part of the world and would recommend it to any one looking for a safe and peaceful lifestyle.

You mentioned 2 children, perhaps the best answer is to start from that point. What school would they attend and how long before they need to move to secondary school or Uni. A lot of my clients comment that their kids have a vigorous social life that centre around the schools and you need to be as close as possible to the school and where their school friends live or you may end up as Mum's Taxi.
