Unlike most of its along side streets or groves or courts, Morang road is very appealing to general public due to its natural reserve. It open on one end at Busy Burwood road. Speedy traffice is super slow on morang road thanks to the Round about and the on street parking which at the moment seems to be over flowing.
Due to Proximity to burwood road and power street, their is sound on the road but morang road still can be rated as quiet due to the Morang reserve. Close by railway line - Hawthorn. Close to Yarra River on the south. Close by park on Morang road provides a good mental relief. Area is built up and has formal residential development. Houses in area are predominantly Victorian style and mostly timber in construction

There is concentration of large multi dwelling blocks south of Morang place i.e. centre of Morang road and Evansdale road. Area has moderate slope and land is primarily use for residential purposes. The land pattern is varied and so is the size and shape of the land allotments. Public transport is a good choice with easy access to Tram route number 70. Shops are available close by on burwood road. Streets are local and traffic is limited. Plantings exist on one side of street. Main trees are prunus, angophora, etc. Houses have small gardens.
