Thinking of moving to Mordialloc, does the airport cause a lot of noise? I hear mixed views

I live on the other side of main street (in the direction away from the beach), and you can definitely hear them. I'm almost directly below their flight path however, and they are very frequent, but most of the traffic occurs during the day and I'm rarely bothered by the noise.

There's a lot of really cool/interesting small planes too, so I see it more of a perk than anything.

We live to the south under runway 35. Yes we hear planes but they don't normally intrude. At the backyard Barbie you may have to holt conversation for a moment when they are very low. Very little traffic at night and most houses built in recent years are to a noise control code. As some one noted below, it is fun to watch the different types of aircraft maneuver around.

It’s noisy by Rivette, Scarlet Streets etc but a whole lot quieter on the southern side of White Street.

I have been living near the beach in mordialloc for 8 months now and have never heard a plane.
