Is Murrumba Downs prone to flooding?

Hi Allen, Murrumba Downs does not flood: You get a little water over the road down in Griffin at Dohles Rocks on a high tide and a 100 year flood, but no houses flood or go under water. Murrumba Downs is too high and the water runs off very quickly which is great for all the local investors and home owners.

Councils have excellent resources for this research. Some more information about flood resources at:

The flood maps tend to be excellent and very accurate, however another rarely used resource is to have a walk along your intended street of purchase looking for the elderly people out watering the roses, the people who have been living in the street for 40+ years and just stating a conversation, you learn a lot that way :)
