Reviews of Nanbaree Drive, Bray Park

"Very affordable & fantastic geographic location"

My husband and i have lived on the bottom end of Nanbaree drive for around 4 years now. My husband works in town and uses Old North Road daily. It is a fantastic road and has honestly pushed us to stay here even though we could afford to live else where. The cheaper mortgage allows me to stay at home and raise our children. I absolutely love how close the shops are. Everything you will need is a short drive to the Strathpine shopping center or on that road, especially being a mum you have limited time to get everything you need. Most of our neighbors are fantastic and we look after each other and our properties. The top end of the street is definitely more ruff then the bottom, as most of us down the bottom are home owners and owner occupied. We have previously rented in suburbs we could not afford to buy in and have found it to be not much different. No matter where you buy there will always be negative that comes with the positive.
I think in time the street will only get better as first time owners buy up and renovate as we have. Also with the uni going up in Lawnton which is not to far away, things here will only keep getting better.

"Good First Family Home Location"

Nanbaree Drive is perfect for young families looking to enter the property market.

Yes, there are housing commission blocks, but they're largely concentrated at the top of the street, (it's quite a long windy drive). You may think because of that, that it's an unsafe street, but we've found it to be one of the safest streets. The other plus is that it makes Nanbaree just that little bit more affordable.

It's actually a fairly quiet street, but you will see kids playing most days, (there's a high school right nearby), and most houses have dogs, which will bark, (but again, keep the place fairly safe and undesirable).

Overall though it's the convenience that wins out. The close proximity to an excellent park with a creek running through it and exercise equipment, walking distance to the high school, (and probably close enough to walk to primary schools too, or a 2min drive), Warner, Kensington and Strathpine shops are all very close too. A bus comes along the street regularly, and makes catching public transport to the city a feasible option, (although you can basically drive down the Old North Road all the way in to the city, less traffic than Gympie Road).

Don't spend more to buy another 20kms north of Brisbane in Narangba or Burpengary; save some money and live in Nanbaree Drive Bray Park!

"street from the bottom of the rut"

we lived in nanbaree drive for many years and we had nothing but trouble with everyone that moved in next to or across the road from us.

it is a mixture of privately owned and housing commission and the housing commission side of it, they are so noisy! if you where ti have a party, they would call the police on you for being to loud, but if they where to have a party and you where to call the police on them, they would get all angry and start throwing bottles and rotten food at everyones houses.

i also have young children around, and they couldnt even go outside to play without getting into trouble for making to much noise.
their children are outside from midnight and making heaps of noise.

i reconmmend under ever chance you can ever get, do not rent or buy any houses in nanbaree drive.
