Dog friendly beaches

Dog friendly beaches that I know of - NSW and QLD

1. In Sydney they're hard to come by, but we often head to Fairlight, or down on the rocks just north of Clovelly Beach. Bit sneaky but everyone seems to do it.
2. Central coast is a top spot to find dog friendly beaches, the council up there is great. Parts of Pearl Beach, Copa, Killcare and Macmasters are all dog friendly and even have off leash areas.
3. Dalmeny, just north of Narooma, has some great dog friendly, off leash beaches.
4. Broulee and Mossy Point beaches allow dogs in many areas.
5. On the sunshine coast QLD, Sunset Beach and Sunshine Beach, just south of Noosa, are dog friendly, and I believe Peregian Beach is too.
6. South coast NSW I hear Culburra is great, also parts of south Durras Beach allow dogs.

Bicentennial Park in Glebe has step down to the water where dogs often go swimming. Rose Bay beach is also a popular spot if you're on that side of the city.

You might also like to check out Mort Bay Park (in Balmain), Harbour Bridge views and an off leash area (no swimming though, but the view makes up for it!).

Our Place on Darling, about a 10 minute walk from Mort Bay is a dog friendly cafe and a great little stop off for some refreshments post fun in the park!
