Young family Moving to Cooroibah.

Hello, we are a young family from Melbourne and are making the move to somewhere in the Noosa Shire specifically looking at the Doonan/Tinbeerwah/Cooroibah region. We have found a property in Cooroibah located approx 3k from the Lake. The property we are looking at has a small creek that runs behind the property in bush land, otherwise the property itself is clear, but does have a pool. We are concerned about Midges/mosquitoes and the heat in summer as the area appears to be pretty well flat. Any other information regarding the suburb itself and the area in general would also be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes, there are midges and mosquito's and the humidity is sometimes unbearable in the Noosa area, if like me you are a southerner. I recommend you check council's on-line flood map, or contact council to ask, as parts of Cooroibah sometimes flood. ( Cooroibah is cheaper than Doonan or Tinbeerwah, but I'm sure you've noticed that on the real estate web sites. Good luck.
