For the past 5 years I have lived in Goorawin Road and it is a great street and very quiet. I have lived in Orange all my life (apart from a few years) but never in this type of area (but I never looked down on this type of area either). Every area has their bad people - even Bel Air. I own many houses in Orange and a few in other cities but I choose to live in Goorawin Road and I must say I have the best neighbours. Please do not judge an area til you live there.

Sorry, cn you prove your statement? And proove your not a real estate agent?

I don't need to prove anything to anybody and how would you expect me to prove it anyway? What I said is the truth - I have lived in Goorawin Road and my neighbours were great and had no problems when living there. I have also lived in Lone Pine Avenue (very close to South Terrace) for a short time and, believe it or not, had great neighbours with no problems - yes, one neighbour had a lounge on their front porch which didn't look good but they were the nicest people. There are wonderful people who live in these areas and, of course, there are always a few 'undesirables' - the same as in all areas. I'm not sure if you have ever lived in this area - maybe you have and maybe you did not have great neighbours or maybe you had bad experiences, but I can assure you I have owned houses in the best areas (my husband and I are in our 60s) and I can tell you there are hidden drug houses in every area (we have been in jobs where we know this) and you can come across 'undesirables' in every area. I am not, and have never been, a real estate agent, although I do have a passion for real estate and did ponder over becoming a real estate agent for many years but, sorry, I have no way of proving this.

Hi. thanks for your question. Not so good of an area. No. Depending on your budget, Bowen area has picked up alot if you are looking to buy affordable housing from $100,000 to $180,000 for a standard 3 bedroom house. Dept of housing has almost sold 90% of the houses there which makes them privately owned. If you want to go higher in price. I live here and its so quiet now the last year or so. Everyone takes pride in their homes, people are friendly and so on. If you want to go up in price, then search around the bel air and calare area of orange.
