Genesis - Definitely a nice place to raise your family. We have for the past 2yrs (Prior 12yrs at Monterey Keys). Sure Genesis might look like a big can of mushroom soup due to the Eco friendly colour selections but the community focus, $3 million Rec club, parks and walking paths make this estate more than just some streets in Coomera. Regular adult and child activities are scheduled at the Community Rec Club so you can join in as much or as little as you like. Schools - Not all state schools in the area have a bad reputation. We have 11yrs of fond memories and academic achievements with Coomera State Primary School (next to Dreamworld) and 4 yrs so far with Helensvale State High. Very happy parents. I commute to Bris every day so the 3min trip to the Coomera station or 40min trip by car to the city is great. Try travelling from Nerang to Broadbeach in peak hour and compare. Brisbane the better option. There are plenty of buses for school and travel to all the local theme parks and shopping. Is 6 mins to far to travel for the kids to play sport? Netball, Soccer, Cricket, AFL, Touch Football, Rugby are all this close so are a number of Doctors / Medical Centres. Best thing about Genesis.... close to the water without the midgies and the new town centre will be 3 minutes away once completed. Genesis... a great place to live - voiced by sports orientated family with teenagers.
