Where are the best schools in Perth?

My wife and I recently visited Perth and loved it. We have an opportunity and are now pondering a move from Melbs. We have two small kids and are trying to sort out where people believe the best schools are? Kids are almost old enough for primary school, but if we move somewhere ideally it would be to stay for 10 years and raise the family etc. Are there any good public schools or would we have to stick with private? Appreciate the insights!
