Bay Villas Resort, which is around 10mins walk to town centre. Great value for money and family friendly.

Marina Terraces Apartments. We have stayed at many of the larger resorts and they were lovely, but for value for money - the rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable here, the pool is great, it is walking distance to the main street and restaurants. They can handle any of your bookings for tours, etc. You will love the owners Tim and Michelle to!
We now return to them again and again!

I like Shantara, the Meridien and the Regal (I own an apt in the last resort)
I like being close to town and enjoy wandering around the shops, having a coffee, walking on the beach and having a cocktail at Zinc...as the sun goes down.
These resorts don't get lots of families and tend to be quieter - in fact, the first two don't accept guests under a certain age - I think about 16 is the minumun age. The first two also have great pools. The pool at the Regal is fine for me, but some complain it's no good for laps, too shallow, a strange shape etc...
I'd check out the websites for each place, but I've enjoyed my stays at all three and after 20 years, still love Port and visit it a couple of times a year.
