Hi PaulS13 I would say that Reynella is the perfect place to raise a family it is close to the beach and housing is more affordable than suburbs closer to the CBD. Not sure what your needs are in terms of schooling primary/secondary and private/public but it is really close to Woodcroft College which is a highly rated reception - year 12 school. Worthwhile investigating and finding out what the student experience is. www.woodcroft.sa.edu.au/

Not a nice place ... in fact, it's horrible. Most people are from anglo backgrounds, so limited culture and definitely without substance. You walk the streets and people don't say "hi" ... they don't even make eye contact. My 50 year old mother was walking to the shops recently and one scumbag threw an apple at her ... landed between her shoulder blades and created an enormous bruise for weeks. A HORRIBLE PLACE ... the southern areas is not that much better than the Northern ... not as much crime .... but more than the rest of Adelaide! UNSAFE, uncultured ... backward, degenerate hoodlums ...

oh ... mustnt' forget to mention the rocks that these hoodlums throw at passing vehicles along south road and the expressway ... endangering people's lives ...

so no ... NOT a nice place to bring up your kids ...
