Many of the streets either side of Kooyong road are cut off (I live in St Kilda:eg) to prevent large traffic flows through these areas hence are relatively quiet.

The best part of Armadale Road is between Newey Street and Chamberlain Raod. Toorak & St Kilda are very good street to live in as well.
