There must be a reason why its so cheap to live in the Caboolture area , Why is it ?

If i was working in Brisbane , Where else would be a nice/safe place to live ? Am i better to move towards the Sunny Coast ? Or Bribie Island ? Or Brisbane itself ?

Caboolture is not cheap. Sunny Coast and Brisbane are just over-priced.

The amount of money and infrastructure it takes to build a building is a lot. The residents of the surrounding area and tenants of that building will burden the cost. The investors know this so they will also develop the surrounding area to keep people coming and spending there money there, therefore keeping the businesses as tenants.

I make 6 figures and live in Caboolture. My co-workers make more than me and also live in Caboolture/Morayfield area.

The real estate is less expensive because they're competing with the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast housing markets which are both tourist destinations with their own airports which will continue to bring in people who will pay the rising prices in case locals can't. The locals in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast probably earn less than Moreton Bay locals.

Take for example Sunshine Coast, the most expensive region in QLD. It only has 1 one shopping centre, Sunshine Plaza. The fact that there's so few shopping options there is because the people living there don't have money to spend. Then look at Caboolture/Morayfield with all the stand alone stores, restaurants, and shops available, and then North Lakes nearby. The fact that there are so many more businesses in Moreton Bay shows their economy is more stable even without being a tourist destination.

Nope. Caboolture just has so much good land there's more supply than demand.

I use to live on the Sunny Coast and it does and will continue to attract rift raft, druggies, and drunks because of the beaches. When I lived on the Sunny Coast all the blokes would walk around outside while drinking alcohol after work. There are still break-ins, car thefts, and drunks jumping over into your backyard there. You only need to ask a hospital worker what kind of people they have to deal with at night in Emergency. We had to pick up dog shit off our lawn every few weeks from adults not picking up after their dogs. On top of that there's annual bushfires and flooding on the Sunny Coast, but again no writes about it. I use to have to take work off because the roads get cut off. And I lived in one of the wealthiest suburbs on the Sunny Coast around Buderim, Mons, and Kiels Mountain with top private schools in the area. Then imagine what the other suburbs are like on the Sunny Coast.

But this is about Caboolture right? Haven't experienced any crime, or weird stuff here. Peace and quite. Neighbours have dogs but they don't bark and are actually trained. Workers at the shops actually stop to ask you 'how's your day going?'
