Reviews of Sutherland Street, St Peters

"A friendly multicultural community that could have its own soap opera!"

This is a really friendly street, well, at least the Unwin's Bridge Road end is - the neighbours are really friendly, culturally diverse and they keep an eye out for your place when you are not around.

George is a great bloke and he can fill you in on life in this street for nearly half a century! There is airport noise but thanks to some of the diligent locals, there is also double glazing and ducted airconditioning in every house in the whole street.

If you want ease of public transport (five minutes walk to Sydenham Station), this is the place. Buses to Newtown and the City are at the end of the street too.

There is a new garden centre, great fruit and vege shop and dog parks nearby. You can live here without a car very easily. Marrickville Metro is on the other side of the railway line and is about a 15 minute walk.
