Job Prospects for over 25s in Taree?

Hi! Just wondering what the employment situation is for over 25s in Taree? Are there employers willing to hire those with disabilities? We are looking into moving, but I am asking as my Husband is waiting on a hip replacement & wants to return to work after rehab. Also, as locals do you feel satisfied with the cost of living in Taree compared to elsewhere in NSW & do you feel the rental properties in Taree are worth what you pay for them? Cheers!

Realistically, mostly professional jobs. Retail/unskilled jobs are difficult to get unless you know someone or have a bit of experience as it is a bit nepotistic. However, a few new restaurants and cafes have opened up so they might be a good bet and Bunnings and the RSL occasionally hires.

I'd say the best prospects are in the health industry (semi-skilled such as aged care or disability or skilled), legal jobs, council jobs or building/tiling/electricians

Not very promising for a job, unless you have experience in nursing or aged care.
