What a surprise to see my old house with its new renovations! This house has many childhood memories, where we grew up in the South Melbourne of old. Walk to the beach, the botanic gardens, Princes Pier, and almost the city. My poor old grandfather, William Walsh would never have believed the new look, the maintenance was his biggest worry. What an opportunity offered for a young family to grow up in these surrounds. We lived with the old copper, wash house (which was converted from an old stable) the old nectarine tree and dahlias in the garden. So now it is all maintenance free. The only regret is I am not in a position to go back! Wish the new buyer a lot of happiness. Trina Perry (Scale)
