Shaftsbury Boulevard

"Quiet street with buses (494) connecting to Williams Landing station in minutes!"

Conveniently located partially across the popular Point Cook Garden Estate and Newminster Estate, this street is situated right at the centre of the nation's fastest growing suburb. With the walking distance to Stockland Point Cook Town Centre and 3 minutes drive to Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre via Sommersby Road, groceries shopping couldn't be made easier.

No one houses are the same as the other, houses were each built uniquely on this street (and surrounding areas) with the best materials.

Bus 494 connects to the Williams Landing station within minutes, no need to worry about congestion/traffic as buses run on a dedicated bus lane through Palmers Road.

Highly recommend for any families with kids at different ages too. Goodstart Early Learning is right at the east end of the Boulevard and you are right between Point Cook Senior Secondary College and Lumen Christi primary school. One of Point Cook's largest reserve, Lennon Reserve is located at the west end of the Shaftsbury Boulevard where you could spend quality time and relax with your family.

What else do you want in the street that is not there?

Truganina Avenue

"The street/footpath within Seabrook connecting to Sanctuary Lakes!"

Firstly, this is within Homestead Run Estate! All houses built in this Estate are unique (each house is built differently), I would say around or prior to 2000 hence the quality are very reliable.

Secondly, and always overlooked is that there is a footpath at the end of Truganina Ave connecting to Augusta Walk of Sanctuary Lakes, it take 15 mins to walk to Sanctuary Lakes Café to enjoy a cup of coffee around the lake.

Thirdly, the street is quiet, neighbours are nice, although not a cul-de-sec but it's secluded enough so definitely no random people around. It's a minute walk to the community centre, tennis court and the parks.

Fourthly, as we all know Point Cook Road could be a nightmare to a lot of commuters, but the good thing is that I drive along Seabrook Boulevard to avoid most of the traffic in the morning, this saves 10mins of driving time than if you live in Sanctuary Lakes or Point Cook.

Lastly, everyone should know, it's within a top VIC school - Seabrook Primary school zone and it's only mins away walking distance..

In summary, Seabrook is one of the best suburbs in outer West and Truganina Ave would be one of the best streets as well. If you are considering buying, I would highly recommend this area within Homestead Run Estate.

Great for

  • Walking distance to Sanctuary Lakes
  • Avoid traffic by going through Seabrook Boulevard
  • Secluded street minimal disturbance

Seabrook

"No regrets!!! Great to raise a family! Top VIC Primary school who offers IB"

I don't understand why but people tends to overlook this lovely cozy small suburb which is situated on top of top right corner of Point Cook. It's the closest suburb to the Laverton Freeway access with friendly neighbourhoods and is only 3 mins drive from the quick developing Williams Landing.

It's basically close to everything - within 5 mins drive to medical centres, shopping malls, parks, reserves, Aircraft/Laverton train station, Altona beach, and Freeway on ramp.

Seabrook is part of Hobson Bay Council not Wyndham so we enjoyed cheaper land rates.

What's best that you don't get in other surrounding suburbs is the well known Seabrook Primary School (ranked top in Victoria!) who offer International Baccalaureate (I.B) since 2011 (founded in 1968, a global education programme focusing on developing the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world), see below links, if you are planning to raise or already have a primary school kid, think no more!

What's better for us is that we are living in the Homestead Run Estate which is commonly known for better quality and unique houses, it's the best area within Seabrook, only 2 minutes walk from:
1) 2 reserves or parks with BBQ facilities and playgrounds
2) Community centre
3) Tennis court.
4) Truganina Avenue and Fleming Avenue is connected to the streets of Sanctuary Lakes, so no need to pay expensive body corp fees to enjoy the same scenic and environment.

Great for

  • Proximity to Melbourne CBD
  • Proximity to Point Cook Town Center
  • Seabrook Primary School
  • Friendly Neighbourhood
  • Park, Playground and tennis court

Not great for

  • Internet access can be trouble at times.
