OK ... I've never lived in Mundoolun, but will be moving there in a few weeks. We're making our move from cramped suburban Brisbane to give ourselves some space. Previous posters have said "it's too far out, not close to anything" Well if it's too far out ........... don't move there !!!! Too far from what ? We currently live 10km from the Brisbane CBD, 10 minutes from the airport ..... who cares ! We go to the CBD maybe 3 times a year, and to the airport much the same. I too have been guilty of the "we must be close to the city" stupidity, and it's all about to change. We've done our homework ..... Our current home is 25 km from my workplace at Cooper Plains, our new house is 38 km from Coopers Plains .... only 13 km more! For an extra 13 km to work we get 8 times more land than we have now, a house twice the size, a pool we don't have now, 4 garages instead of 2, beautiful views of Tamborine Mountain, and we don't have to put up with constant aircraft traffic, mosquitoes, and a small suburban block where the road is 6 metres from our bedroom window !!!!! Mundoolun is about 7 minutes from Jimboomba, which has Coles, Woolworths, and anything else you could need. I can't wait to move to Mundoolun !!!
