Andrew Clarke Road

"Executive rural residential lifestyle in friendly neighbourhood"

Andrew Clarke Road was thoughtfully developed as an exclusive tuck-away acreage estate (Lake View Ridge) off Dayboro Road. Visitors are constantly surprised by the beauty of the views over Lake Samsonvale, across to the mountains and the city, and quietness of the area. It's truly a lovely place to come home to! Many of the properties on Andrew Clarke Road back onto Water Board Reserve (with a large koala colony) and can never be built out. Zoned rural residential, this estate has large executive homes (with plenty of big boys toys) in many different styles. Native wildlife abounds in the area. Wallabies often graze in the paddocks and an abundance of birdlife enjoy the serenity too. The people are friendly and motivated. The area has a lovely feel and not surprisingly the land values have skyrocketed since the estate was first opened about seven years ago. Commuting to the city is easy with a good electric train service just 7 minutes away, or take a 40 minute drive.
The small suburb of Whiteside has much green space with its Reserves and many lovely picnic spots. There's a fishing club and watersports association on Lake Samsonvale. Old Petrie Town (the Heritage Village) has arts and crafts, pottery group, men's shed, museums, woodfired oven bakery, markets and the fabulous Tom Petrie's pub and Restaurant with a terrific live band - just the way to while away a pleasant Sunday!
