Churchill Avenue

"Perfect place for working couples or Families"

I have lived in this street for over 6 years. It is a great friendly neighbourhood with many public facilities close by. Public transport is above exceptional! Bus train & tram are all within a 3 minute walk. Traffic was somewhat annoying in peak hour mornings, but the council has sorted that out well with non intrusive rubber traffic mounds and aslo no left turn timezones. Traffic is not a problem now at all.
4 great pubs/ hotels, some ewly renovated are within a 5-10 minute walk or even shorter car ride away. Good takeaway food access is also within very close distance. (Fish/chicken/ chinese/pizza/indian/bakery etc).
The street itself is somewhat narrow, but traffic seems to flow quite well/ Football-cricket season see's a lot of parked cars on saturday afternoons.
The houses are predomininantly war homes era or earlier bungalow/tudors. A lot are now being renovated and are of great quality and lifestyle. Prices are now fetching into the 600-700 k mark for a 3 bedroom property with basic- extensive renovations. ome properties have larger blocks and will fetch more.
