Sandy Crescent

"Quiet & Pleasant"

A quiet, hidden suburb situated just north of Salisbury, and just south of Elizabeth Vale.

The absolutely only noise you will hear on this street is the cockatoos and kookaburras in the morning, and a few dogs barking occasionally.

The only traffic is from the people that live on the street, except on Sunday mornings when the kids go to the park for soccer. Never police attendance in sight, and friendly neighbors all around.

Growing up here was very safe, in fact most of the time we never needed to lock the gate at night.

Public transport is close, and if you travel by car, you have three close options for shopping centers. Elizabeth City Center is 5-10 minutes away, Parabanks in Salisbury is 10 minutes away, and The Villiage at Golden Grove is just 15 minutes away.

Sandy Cresent is the closest street to Carisbrook Park. You can take a walk down there with your children or with your dog, and you'll be there within 3 minutes. There is a special park with an obstacle course for all your dog training needs.

There is a pub, "The Old Spot" just over the other side of Main North Road, where a fantastic primary school is situated close by. A petrol station is just a street away, and a fish & chip shop is close by.

I recommend retirees and families with kids. The gardens are really something in this area. At Christmas time, the suburb is filled with Christmas lights which makes for a great stroll on Christmas Eve.

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids

Neagle Road

"Read before you rent or buy!"

Neagle road is situated just off Peachy Road in Davoren Park, one of the far most northern suburbs in Adelaide, before you reach Gawler.

One of the first things you'll notice as you enter this suburb is the lack of concern for reputation. You will see trash and belongings, mattresses, chairs, etc thrown out on the curbs, in the driveways and on the front lawns. If you travel through here at night, you will notice the suburb is poorly lit, and those who are walking about either are not aware of the dangers, or they are the trouble, themselves.

I would not recommend families or retirees to live anywhere near here. Reasons for this is the danger involved in living in this suburb.

From domestic disputes, loud parties at night, and continuing fights all down the street, to speedy, careless drivers almost knocking you flat when you cross the road.

About the only thing I can speak positively about is that there is a bus stop just one minute away, a local IGA, chemist, dentist, and fish & chips shop, a primary school, and a doctor's surgery. There is a motel just down the road, with pokies, and a drive through liquor store. Munnopara shopping center is just a 5 minute drive away, and Broad Meadows train station is situated just 10-15 minute walk from Neagle road.

I would love to write a positive review, but I really think that I should be honest. I wish you the best if you decide to join the street.
