Gittins Drive

"A few improvements necessary, but still early days"

Having only moved in ten days ago, it would not be fair to be too judgmental of Gittins Drive at this stage. Being in a powered wheelchair makes my needs a little more obvious and important to the average citizen, but I would have several suggestions to make to the local council about how my life - and that of at least two other wheelchair residents I have met who live in this street - could be made a whole lot easier.

I will have a lot more to say about the area as I become more familiar with its surroundings. In the meantime I may try to become a member of the local council and, if elected, will raise my voice a little bit louder!

Hi Colin, thanks for your review. Could you tell us more about what the council could do for people with mobility needs like yours? Does the street have problems with road design, curbing and traffic?
