Hender Street

"A great place to live"

Hender street is in a fantasic location. Right next to the eastern freeway and just down the road from the newly update Doncaster Shopping town that has everything you need. With no houses on the other side of the street there is a nice panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Just across the road is the park and ride bus stop that will get you into the city within half and hour. The only problem with that is Hender street can get a few cars parked in it during the day when the car park is full.

Being right next to the Eastern Freeway and Doncaster Road you may think it would be noisy however is quite low and you can quickly get use to it.

There is a great bike track and park land around the freeway with plenty of room to do whatever you want.

The schools in the area are great. Being a local boy I went to Doncaster Secondary College and it’s a great school.

There are plenty of good choices of restaurants in the area from European to Asian and even a TGI Fridays as well as a 24 hour Pan Cake parlor.

Hender street is a great place to live.

"Everything is close in Blackburn"

Nice quiet area considering that Maroondah highway and the train lines are only a few hundred meters away.

Public transport is great, with Blackburn station only 5 minuets walk away and Trams just up the road there is not trouble getting to the city. The Eastern Freeway is not to far either.

Shopping is fantastic with heaps of big shops along Maroondah highway as well as Forest Hill Shopping Center and the smaller Blackburn North Square makes it easy to find what you want.

The only thing with O'Hara street is there is 1 hour parking restrictions in the street as it is close to the station. A parking permit is not hard to get however visitors may have a problem.

"If you love trees then you'll love Eltham"

Eltham is a quiet suburb to the north east of Melbourne. Public transport is ok, but with one line going to the city trans don't run very often. There are only essential shops (super market, chemist, post office).

They can't build a straight road in Eltham so if your new to the area then you may get lost a few times.

With the trees comes possums, add that with a dog and you can get a noisy night and birds in the morning. However its usually not a problem.

"A quiet court in a nice neighborhood"

A quiet street in a nice neighborhood with a good mix of young and old, there is always someone that will empty your mailbox and bring your carts in when your away.

There are only buses so public transport is not that good. The Eastern Freeway makes it easy to get to the city. Plenty of shops, facilities and parks around. With Westfield Doncaster doubling in size Doncaster will be even better.

Great views of the city and the mountains.
