Malcolm Street

"Surprisingly Quiet Oasis"

Despite its proximity to South Road the noise level drops away remarkably as you climb the hill. A single point of entry means local traffic only. There's a big public transport stop at Flinders Med, but the 10 minute walk there isn't flat and will keep you fit. Great for walkers with a few nice parks nearby and views to the orange ocean sunsets. The street is hard work on bicycles. There are time limits on street parking during the day (due to nearby medical centre and uni) but at night there is a number of street-parked cars. Wonderful point from which to reach Marion, the beach and the city, though relying on public transport will take some effort, and you will definitely be driving the little ones to a school as there are none nearby.
