Booyan Crescent

"Chuffed to be part of this neighbourhood - cant wait to move in"

Bought what I reckon was the only remaining plot of land on this street couple of years ago and am eagerly awaiting the completion of my brand new house.

After searching across Melbourne for years for a good parcel of land in a good neighborhood, I jumped at the opportunity to pick this one up. Booyan Crescent is a great little street - off the main road and far enough from the highway that you can't hear the traffic. It is quiet and serene with lovely cherry trees dotting the road up from the bridge across the plenty river.

The road is a bit steep on one end, perfect for a return jog. I also love the convenience of being near the town center, without having to endure the day to day grind of being in the middle of the suburb. Also driven up the road to Killnarny Ridge which indeed is a lovely place too...same vibe as Booyan Crescent (as it just extends off the same road - towards the East). With the upcoming University Hill development, that brings shopping, town center and entertainment even closer to home, this is a no brainer location to start a young family.

Hello Dopple. I'm thinking of buying a house in Booyan Crescent and was hoping you'd be able to give me some idea of how the neighbourhood feels now you've probably moved in to your new house. Hope to hear your feelings soon. "Poddle" the Tasmanian.
