Church Rd

"Heaven on Earth"

Tucked away in one of the most sheltered areas of Bruny Island, Barnes Bay is a regular draw card for the yatching enthusiest to drop anchor. Oysters and mussels are abundant- ofcourse good fishing can be enjoyed here. You may catch a glimpse of a seal, string ray or dolphin while you are seated on the back porch of 160 Church road. The gentle rolling hills ensures that there is a beautiful view any way you look. The wild life are a plenty with many echidna, walaby, quoll or vast bird life spotted while you take a easy ride either on foot, bike or on your horse. The property at 160 Church road is a reluctant sale but a once in a life time chance at heaven on earth. Boasting three dams, natural creek, cosily charming house only metres from the shore line AND with it's own jetty. This property currently happily accomadates 3 horses but has room for a few more. A large shed to house much farming equipment. I have spent many holidays over the last 20 years here and have numerous happy memories. I will miss the adventure out in the bay and the horse rides about the island. There is a growing number of gourmet food producers on the Island including Barnes bay Cheese, Oyster farm, local fudge producer and cherry orchards. I am envious of the lucky person who is able to purchase this wonderful place.
