Bexley

"A Beautiful Oasis"

Nestled in the Inner West, Bexley is a beautiful little suburb with wide streets and grand homes with parklands surrounding it's boundaries. A olympic size swimming pool and the ability to get to the city and the beaches within 15 minutes is truly advantageous.

As educated buyers are now realising the potential of Bexley, prices are on the upward scale. The block sizes vary however many new superior dwellings are being built in the area to take advantage of the high position and views to Botany Bay and the Sydney CBD.

Great review, all true however I will warn that some of the suburb is affected by the flight path.
Aeroplanes can be noisy in some streets.

Hi Adam,
What streets would you say are most effected and how much worse than leichhardt is it. i.e. if liechhardt scores a 7 for air noise what would bexley be.

Thanks

hi roccs777,

If you Google “Sydney flight path map” and zoom up on Bexley you will see the streets affected, there are way too many for me to list you are likely to encounter some kind of aircraft noise in any Bexley street at an estimate the flight path covers about 90% of the suburb.
I am unfamiliar with the extent of noise in and around Leichardt so I cannot compare, but what I will say is that there are streets in Bexley whereby if you are standing in your front yard speaking to somebody and a plane flies over, you will not be able to hear each other speak at all.

Hope this helps

Ive lived in Leichhardt and Bexley - there is NO comparison. Totally dependant where you live in Bexley though the lower section towards Turrella and the "gully" get less noice and International planes generally dont fly over the suburb due to the shorter runway approach. Leichhardt would be a 9/10 and Bexley 4/10.

Boorowa

""Boorowa" looks like Berry's little cousin."

This beautiful town seems to inhibit very similar characteristics to Berry NSW. Rural Culture, Antiques, lively town from the morning until the afternoon, coffee shops that project you to a time of old. Walk into the Court House for lunch and a chat. Famous Pies are found in the main street and one of the most attractive churches in rural NSW " St. Patricks". The festivals are great, the steak lunch and dinner is fantastic with real australian beef from the locale.

Drive to Wyangala Dam for water sports or simply jump into the Boorowa local pool.

If you are ever near Yass or Young drive into to little boorowa, the home of the Superb Parrot and Sheep country. The rural Festivals are great fun!

Murray Street

"Capital Growth - Ocean at your doorstep"

100 Mtrs from the end of Murray Street is the Ocean and beach waterfront. Watch this suburb as it will be worth millions in the years ahead. Across the Brisbane Waters ( 9 minute boat ride) are some of the wealthiest and strongest capital growth markets in NSW.

If you have patience and invest now, you will always appreciate in the years ahead.

International buyers watch this locale.
