Willowtree Crs

"A perfect street to raise a family, very quiet, no through traffic and creek and walking tracks all the way into the city."

Willowtree Crescent is a great, quiet street with a real sense of neighbourhood. Many young families live in the area whose children attend the local schools that are all within walking distance. There is a creek at the end of the street which soon will have walking and riding paths linking up to the city centre. There are two playgrounds within a couple minutes walk with a barbeque and rotunda also in the vicinity at Steele Creek. Keilor Road is also only 15 minutes walking distance which has a tram to the city, buses, many restaurants, cafe's and excellent fresh green grocers and butchers. Although Niddrie is a 1960's suburb, Willowtree Crescent is only 7 years old and all the houses and street reflect this more contemporary feel. Niddrie Quarry is currently being redeveloped into housing - Valley Lake - and this will add further walking tracks and a cafe to the area without direct through traffic access. All in all a great area and a great street to live in.
