Sandra Drive
"One of the best places of the world to live in. Peace and quiet, yet close enough to amenities."
Probably the best street in Blackmans Bay. It has views, but is still walking distance to the beach. Mostly new, modern, executive homes in the area - all with neat gardens. Sandra Drive is a cul de sac and is situated close to a reserve so it is extremely peaceful in the street. Lots of native birds around. The best neighbours I have ever had - like a small, friendly community where everybody support each other. Recommended for old and young alike!

Could you be more specific about which native birds are in the area. We're thinking of moving and trying to get away from obnoxious wildlife like the Lapwing (Plover) which infests this area (Tamar Valley) and screeches incessantly pretty much all day, every day and has for about 3 years; and all night about half the time. My wife and I can't remember the last time we had a decent night's sleep, so please add as much detail as you can, because people do tend to go into denial about these problems when the view is so nice.
