I have spent a lot of time on Pelican Street over the years. I frequently have kangaroos for company during morning walks, and throughout the year admire the view over Lake Victoria to the mountains in the distance. It is a great area for wildlife (Pelican Street is near the national park), and peace and quiet. Those who like fishing will like to go to the beach - the 90 mile beach is nearby.

For minor shopping, most day to day goods can be bought at "The Lodge" a small supermarket a short distance away in Loch Sport, but otherwise Sale have everything one could want (hospitals, etc).

As an amateur astronomer, I love the lack of light pollution too :)
