Tantallon Ave

"One of the hidden gems of the St George area."

One of the area's 'special streets' located in the Arncliffe 'dress circle'. Fantastic schools and childcare. Just a minute to the M5 and 15mins into town. City views from the local primary school. A choice of playgrounds and park lands with walks through the wetlands at the end of the road. Many of Arncliffe's most attractive heritage houses are found In Tantallon Ave and the neighbouring streets perched on top of Segenhoe Hill. Houses on the South side of the street are treated to sweeping views of Botany Bay and surrounds. Tantallon Ave is on the edge of an escarpment and many houses back onto the view with decks. The weather can look spectacular as it rolls in over the bay and in summer, the area takes on a beachy feel. The airport noise can only be heard in the valley below one or two days a week. It is never directly overhead and is actually a lot quieter than suburbs like Marrickville located at a greater distance to the airport. Good shopping in local Rockdale and only 10mins up the Princess Hwy to the Newtown shops and restaurants. One of the hidden gems of the St George area.
