It is and always has been a natural ampi-theatre to watch the waves and swells wash onto this magnificent headland.
Walk around or up and over the National Park and enjoy nature at it's best. In Whale watching season, they can easily be seen from many vantage spots.
Surfing here ,when it's good ; can be absolutely mind blowing, especially when the famous Burleigh Barrels are grinding. The world's best surfers are often seen here.
The general feeling on any day, is usually engrossing, with people strolling along the many walks, eating at the famous restaurants, like Oscars, Mermaids and Pointbreak, as well as coffee at "the Nook" or at the surfclub.
