Greenmeyer Court

"Good spot, central to facilties, good for families"

Good:
The thing that attracts me to our street is that it's quite central to the facilities in Greensborough and the neighbours so far have been great (been living here for since 2003). The street is packed full of native trees and bushes and a river seperates the street from the parks and train station (which is accessible by a nice wooden arch bridge). For those who work in the city, the train station is very short walking distance and is major station which every train on the line stops at. It's also very close to the Western ring road which is handy to get into the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne. There's heaps of kindergartens and primary/secondary schools in this area. There's a large shopping center as well (10 mins walk), and it has quite a lot of restaurants and fast food outlets as well as a Kmart, Cinema and a huge Target store. There's also a market every sunday just past the train station.

Bad:
Sometimes on friday or saturday night, groups of youths may walk by noisily on their way to the pubs etc... And during the week a lot of people park their cars in our street - but this doesn't usually cause a problem because all the houses have driveways on the street. Noise level is good, considering the train station is not far.

All in all, extremely happy here! Considering staying here for a long while!

Is your house on a steep hill like the rest of G'bo? Do you find that it's a problem?
