Marine Avenue

"A Hidden great!"

With very little through traffic (apart from rememberence day, Australia Day, and New Years Eve) Marine Ave is surprisingly quiet and enjoyable.

Being close to the CBD and beach goes without saying as being a great benefit. Great neighbours (although many elderly) good leafy gardens, quiet, and affordable.

It really is a great little area.

Nepean Highway

"Not so bad."

Despite the Nepean Hwy carrying a lot of traffic on a daily basis, Its not actually that bad of a place to call home.

The Nepean Hwy is usually only really busy through Mornington on weekdays during peak time and long weekends.

Its a quick easy run into the shops or beach, and has a lot or benefits.

From my experience the neighbours are good, and even people on the other side of the Highway are more than happy to help out and watch over the home while you are away.

Great!

Boneo Road

"Not a great Road to live on."

Boneo Rd is by far one of the busiest roads in Rosebud. Due to the high traffic from the end of the Freeway, there is a constant noise that even the happiest of residents would soon become sick of.

Its not a neighbourly Rd. People mostly stick to themselves and are older in age, often causing them to complain about minor issues.

There is a high level of rubbish along the street, much of which could be traced back to the Rosebud High School. Along with litter, there is also often random pieces of umped furniture.

Boneo Rd Rosebud has been a less than desirable location to call home.

I also live in this area and have lived on Boneo Rd, This person makes it sound like your driving through a Tip with a speedway beside it. No its not that bad, I used to holiday down here and now live here and I'm in my 40's and have children, my young son crosses this road on his bike and yes it is high in traffic but no where near what this person says. yes there is an off of traffic from the FWY but there is also traffic lights to cross at. When I 1st moved here from Melb there were alot of elderly but now it's evened out I think, you have the same amount of families as there is elderly but there are retirement homes that if you have family in them you can be close to your loved one's. The rubbish and furniture well I've seen alot more in other suburban town's, here we don't have rubbish pick-ups as Casey,Berwick and Dandenong do, here we have to ring the council and arrange a pick-up, we are also meant to bring our weekly bins in as soon as they are emptied so the neighborhood doesn't look messy and we are big on recycling. All you can do is try it for yourself and see how beautiful and friendly Rosebud and surrounding towns are
