"Very convenient with a large, beautiful park with sports facilities. Busy on weekdays but quiet at night."
A successful mix of residential, commercial and green space. Good for those who love inner city living. I've lived here for 22 years and I absolutely love the convenience. Won't be moving any time soon. Alexandria Park is such an oasis and the sense of community there is strong, especially if you have a dog, kids (great playground & BBQ) or play sports - tennis, basketball, oval sports. Can be busy at peak hour, but pretty quiet at night. I don't hear any noise once I'm inside or at the park, but I wouldn't want my main living area at the front of the house if I was home regularly on weekdays. Only just enough parking. You can walk to anything you need; you don't really need a car. The streetscape is quite decent for a busy but bearable single lane each way road, with many Jacarandas and natives, as well as grand old Moreton Bay Figs at the park. The Waterloo Precinct and Metro development a 5 minute walk away will make this street even more convenient than it already is. True inner city living.
