Capel Way

"Life is good"

Capel Way in Herron is a lovely gentle place to live. It has a naturally peaceful ambience, the lake is a pristine world all on its own and is easily accessible. The tuart trees that surround are ancient and filled with all sorts of living creatures. Red and black cockatoos, eagles and a myriad of migratory birds come to the lake to breed and rest and we look forward to their coming every year. Herron is just far enough from town(15 mins to Falcon, 10 to the beach and 8mins to the freeway) to be away from the hustle & bustle of city life but that too is only a short drive away. As the crow flies the ocean is only 3k's away - can hear it on a still night and in the early morning, the estuary is a short horseride over the hill, with ample recreational activities - we take the wave ski go crabbing and fishing, swim there watch the most amazing moon rises - its hard to imagine that this place is so close to Mandurah - we feel like its a constant relax and holiday!! Brew 42 (previously known as the Lake Clifton Tavern) has had major renovations and offers yummy food and classic boutique beer, and is a meeting point and good social outlet for the area. Bouvard Winery is also a lovely place for lunch and a few nice glasses of wine on any given day. Herron is an idyllic place to live, relax and raise a family.
