Shoal Point

"Sleepy Ocean Suburb - Shoal Point!"

Shoal Point is a beautiful, small, laid back suburb of only a few hundred situated right next to the beach! Shoal points beaches are large and pristine which also contain some rock pools which are home to magnificent marine life such as starfish, small fish, corals, crabs etc.

The beaches are great for many activities such as sand castle building, blo-karting, observing the marine life, and inspecting the rock pools! Take a walk along the beach in the early morning or late evening and occasionally dolphins can be seen playing in the waves. When the tide is low you can also walk to close by Green Island.

Shoal Point boasts reef fishing right on your doorstep as well as Crabbing, Prawning and Estuary fishing at Reliance Creek.

Shoal Point is not home to any medical facilities, gyms, eateries or shops as of yet. But with a new expansion on the way, its very likely these things will be established! For now though, these places are only 5 minutes down the road in neighbouring suburb Bucasia.

Great for

  • The Beach
  • The laid back lifestyle
  • Small suburb

Not great for

  • No General Store in Shoal Point, but is one 5 mins down the road.
