We have a couple of kids and dogs and there is heaps to do locally without needing to get in the car and drive. We have a great bike path so we can commute to the city. The traffic can be a little loud but inside the house you don't hear it. The people around me are very kind- happy to have a chat when we see each other. People around also take pride in keeping their homes looks good- lots of painting going on and even some new homes being built. The gardens are well managed and lawns kept too. I have been here for 4 years and really feel at home.
