This tree lined cul-de-sac has a real community feel with most households being families with kids. The original homes were all postwar, however more recent building has seen several modern homes developed along the street. The Esplanade parks are a few minutes walk away, providing an array of playground equipment, bbq facilities and green space. Travel time into town is about 20minutes in peak hour or 10 minutes outside of peak. Also, the Eleanor Schonell Bridge provides very easy access into the University of Queensland grounds. Yvonne Street is just off the 'cycling circuit' for those who like to ride.
