Pembroke Place

"Great family street. Not for restless singles or couples without kids."

Pembroke Place is a great street for families to live in. Very safe, kids can ride bikes in the street, there are often games of street cricket on the go. Its the way kids should grow up. We are close to sports fields, kids parks and close to the bush for the bushwalkers and mountain bikers.

Street is quiet, no hoons which makes it safe and quiet! There is also the right mix of neighbourly friendliness without everyone in the street knowing what's going on in every household. We love it here. Oh yes forgot - we are 15 mins to the beach - very cool! Another great thing about being part of warringah council - you get free parking at warringah council beaches. When you pay your rates you get sent a parking sticker which entitles you to free parking at any of the council beaches. Thats a bonus!! Some value for your rates - at last.

Belrose overall is a bit of a gastronomic wilderness - thats the only downside of the suburb. Very few restaurants to choose from, but there are a couple of good ones - a few in Sorlie Rd, Frenchs Forest (neighbouring suburb) including a pretty good local pub the President hotel on Hews Parade, good for a beer and a decent feed. Also a decent Indian restuarant on Dawes Rd.
