Swampy

Lived on Samford Road for appox. 5 years & still own a house there. Great for access to city, close to transport, shops, schools, child care & recreation spots. On the down side, the road is noisy & very busy which makes access to & from property a challenge. Would recommend double glazing for windows facing road, but not so bad at the rear of the property. We were lucky to have pretty good neighbours. For young children and pets I would invest in a good fence with a secure gate!

Great being so close to town, shops, restaurant & Seaport. Just a shame there are so many inconsiderate people living (& working) in the vicinity. Neighbours treat the street like a dumping ground & a racetrack. Not to mention the loud music at all hours...some people do work you know!!!As much as I am an animal lover, there are too many cats that treat our property like their own personal kitty litter! The people living in the street don't seem to be educated in looking after their pets and desexing, therefore the feral cat population is increasing at a fast rate.

Looking forward to the levy and the upgrade in Lindsay Street being completed for peace of mind as I'm not a strong swimmer!!
