Sunhill Road is perfect for growing families. Right near the highly-rated local high school, and a short walk to primary school, it seems to be attracting mainly people with school-aged children. Many of the areas original residents moved in and built during the 50s, 60s and 70s, and there are a lot of brick veneer homes ripe for renovation if you have a bit of vision. Seems a lot of people do - there seems to be a trend of buying and renovating in the area. Right near the the bus stops to go to Box Hill, or down High Street to Ashburton & Glen Iris, and a five minute walk to the train station and a good shopping centre (don't go here for fashion just yet though - anything decent might take 5-10 years), there are plenty of local parks with native flora to attract birds and give it a nice, semi-bushland feel.
