Gilles Plains

"We were happy there"

In the 10 years we lived in Gilles Plains we were very pleased with the area. The neighbours were friendly, and the facilities good. While we were there much of the old Gilles Plains was replaced by new house and being so close to the city property values have been excellent. Local shopping is excellent: Woolworths, Foodland, Coles, Bunnings, Tea Tree Plaza, etc. Modbury Hospital is close, as are bus services and the O-Bahn.

We didn't experience any safety problems, and always felt confident of support from our neighbours in the case of a medical emergency.

We thoroughly recommend the area.

Weebo Street

"We were happy there"

We lived in Gilles Plains for just over 10 years. The short street we lived in (Weebo) is in the north-east corner, near the Dry Creek Park.

We felt very safe there. No mishaps occurred and the neighbours were very friendly, and very supporting when I was hospitalised a couple of times.

We previously lived on a main road, and the peace and quiet after that was much appreciated.

Being so close to all facilities, Tea Tree Plaza, Modbury Hospital, etc. was very handy,(and there's a fantastic Chicken Shop just up the road).

Being close to the city was an advantage, and as during our time there much of the old Gilles Plains was replaced by new homes, resale values were excellent.

If you are looking for a home in a friendly location, close to the city and all essential services, we can thoroughly recommend the area.
