My husband and I moved to glenroy just before the birth of our first child in Dec 2006. We bought our home in August of that same yr. I can't begin to tell you how happy and glade we are to have bought our first home here and brining up our family here. We now have 2 children. This is a very affordable suburb with so mush going for it.

The shopping strip is 5 min walk away and so is the train station, Library, medical center. 10 min walk to the primary schools (there are two) and Child care. City Link and Western ring rd only two 3 min to get to so your in to city in 15 min or at Melb Airport in 10.

YES the local Kebab House have the best kebabs in Melb and i love shopping at the Pascoe Vale rd Market.

My in-laws loved it so much they sold there house in Doncaster and moved up the road from us :)
